A Transformative Yoga Camp was held at the MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre from 28 Aug to 01 Sep 2023. The yoga camp was driven by Mrs Padmini Jog, a renowned yoga practitioner and attended by all ranks & families of the MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre.
The camp was meticulously designed to cater the unique needs of soldiers and focused on core strength building, flexibility and meditation techniques. The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity provided to learn the techniques of basics of Pranayam and Asanas for improving everyday lifestyle. The physical and mental wellbeing that the Asanas can infuse was appreciated by all participants. The aim of the camp was also to increase self-realization and energy levels to propel oneself towards achieving their goals by channelizing their energies. The Indian Army remain committed towards, not just the physical conditioning of the body but also to ensure a balance between mind, body and soul and build a character with a strong fibre for a strong nation.
