The victims have been identified as Mudassir and Muzammil. According to preliminary reports, the toddlers were playing near the lake when they accidentally slipped and fell into the water. Despite efforts by locals and family members, the children could not be rescued in time.
The Begur Police responded immediately and have since registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR). The skeleton has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to determine the identity of the deceased, the approximate time of death, and any signs of foul play.
