IAS officer Manjunath Prasad will address their lockdown-related issues
BENGALURU:
IAS officer and revenue department principal secretary N Manjunath Prasad has been appointed as Nodal Officer to deal with foreign nationals and foreign students staying in Bengaluru and all over the state.
Prasad will be identifying and resolving the problems faced by these foreign nationals, and also migrants from other states, who are facing any kind of problems in Bengaluru due to the lockdown.
Chief secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar in his order said the appointment was made to resolve the problems faced by migrants from other states and countries in the current situation.
The Ministry of Home Affairs and the Karnataka government are jointly chalking out measures to contain the Covid-19 outbreak. It is against this backdrop that a nodal officer has been appointed to address the problems faced by these sections.
