Date:

BENGALURU:

The Home Minister, G Parameshwara, made an important announcement stating that the Mudpipe Cafe had permission to be a hotel, but they were actually running a hookah bar illegally. Not only that, they also built a temporary structure without permission.

Parameshwara went to the place with the Director General of Police Kamal Pant (Fire Department). They inspected the entire premises on Thursday.

Afterwards, Parameshwara said, “They weren’t allowed to build a temporary structure. They only had permission to run a hotel. But they were running a hookah bar without permission.”

Parameshwara also mentioned that he doesn’t know how all those cylinders exploded yesterday. Luckily, everyone got out safely. One person even jumped from the building and is now getting treatment at a hospital in the city, he added.
