BENGALURU:

Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar’s official personal assistant HJ Ramesh lost his Covid-19 battle on Monday.

Ramesh, 55, died at a hospital where he was being treated for the virus since the last one week. Minister Suresh Kumar announced the heartbreaking news in his Facebook post on Monday morning.

With Minister for 8 years

Ramesh was working with Suresh Kumar for the past eight years. Ramesh had played a major role in getting Covid patients admitted in hospitals.

A source said that he had recovered from Covid a few days ago after he had complained of breathlessness and was put on a ventilator in an ICU ward. On Monday morning around 9 am, Ramesh had even spoken to several people, but suddenly his oxygen level dropped and he died after a heart attack, the source said.
