BENGALURU:

In Bommanahalli, there is growing concern over the elusive leopard that has been spotted in the area. A dedicated team from the Leopards Task Force, equipped with thermal drones, has been deployed to locate and capture the leopard. However, despite their efforts, the leopard has managed to evade capture and remains at large.

Recently, the leopard was sighted once again in the Krishna Reddy Industrial Area. Witnesses were quick to capture the astonishing sight of the leopard casually strolling along the road on their mobile phones.

Late at night, the leopard sought refuge in a derelict building within the Krishna Reddy industrial area near Kudlu. At around 11 o’clock, it made a daring escape from the compound and disappeared into the ruins. These remarkable moments were captured by vigilant individuals using their mobile phones.

Earlier in the day, on Tuesday, a thorough search operation was conducted in the dilapidated building by officials, but the leopard was nowhere to be found. Frustratingly, the operation had to be suspended at 7 o’clock in the evening. Determined not to let the leopard slip away, forest department officials decided to leave a bone as bait and patiently waited. Their patience paid off when the leopard was spotted near the old building around 11 pm.

The leopard briefly perched on the compound before retreating back into the safety of the old building. This sighting prompted the resumption of the operation, this time utilizing the thermal drone to track the leopard’s movements.

The drone captured incredible footage of the leopard as it stood on the compound, before gracefully leaping back into the building. Forest officers are now relying on this valuable footage to guide their ongoing efforts to capture the elusive leopard.
