Lathi-charge in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi city saw the iron fist of law enforcement for the first time after the nationwide lockdown, as the local police caned stragglers on the roads on Wednesday.

Videos of the police lathi-charge on young ‘adventurers’ went viral as the incident took place in the crowded Shahbazar Naka in Kalaburgi. The youths were made to squat by the cops and sent off with a warning to stay indoors.
