DyCM says Covid-19 precautions will have to be strictly observed
BENGALURU:
Physical classes of higher education institutions are set to resume from Monday, July 26, as announced earlier, while adhering to Covid-19 norms, DyCM CN Ashwath Narayan, who is also Minister for Higher Education, said on Sunday.
This is applicable to all the years of degree, post-graduate, engineering and polytechnic colleges.
Students who have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine are eligible to attend the regular classes and college staff should have received at least one dose of the vaccine. However, such students will have to submit a consent letter by their parents, the DyCM said.
The Covid-19 SOP will have to be strictly followed by the institutions, including physical distancing between students.
Students who are not willing to attend physical classes can continue to attend online classes, and contact classes will be conducted to get any doubts clarified.
