Karnataka Home Minister visits Command Hospital, inquires about Gr Capt Varun Singh’s health

Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra visited the Command Hospital here on Sunday and inquired about the health of Group Captain Varun Singh, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Singh is the lone survivor in the Coonoor helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others had died in the crash.

The Minister assured all support and help for the recovery of Singh from the state government. He also met his parents and prayed for his speedy recovery.

Singh was shifted from Wellington in Tamil Nadu to Command Hospital on Thursday. Karnataka Police Chief Praveen Sood was also present on the occasion.
