100 ACB officers and 300 staff searching 75 places across Karnataka
BENGALURU:
Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths conducted raids against 18 officials on Wednesday, including officials from Bangalore Development Authority, the Transport Department and various other departments.
“The raids are being conducted on a tip-off of disproportionate assets and searches are underway at 75 places. Around 100 officers and 300 staff are conducting the raids,” an official said in a press release issued to media houses on Wednesday morning.

- Rakesh Kumar, BDA, Town Planning.
- Ramesh Kankatte, RFO, Social Forestry, Yadgir.
- Basavaraj Shekar Reddy Patil, Executive Engineer, Kaujalagi Division, Gokak.
- Basava Kumar S Annigeri, Shirastedar, DC’s office, Gadag.
- Gopinath N Malagi, Project Manager, Nirmiti Kendra, Vijayapura.
- BK Shivakumar, Additional Director, Industries and Commerce, Bengaluru.
- Shivanand P Sharanappa Khedagi, RFO, Badami.
- Manjunath, Assistant Commissioner, Ramanagar.
- Srinivas, General Manager, Social Welfare Department.
- Maheshwarappa, District Environmental Officer, Davanagere.
