Karnataka ACB raids 18, including BDA, Transport and police officials

100 ACB officers and 300 staff searching 75 places across Karnataka

BENGALURU:

Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths conducted raids against 18 officials on Wednesday, including officials from Bangalore Development Authority, the Transport Department and various other departments.

“The raids are being conducted on a tip-off of disproportionate assets and searches are underway at 75 places. Around 100 officers and 300 staff are conducting the raids,” an official said in a press release issued to media houses on Wednesday morning.

  1. Gnanendrakumar, Additional Commissioner, Transport, Road Transport and Safety, Bengaluru
  2. Rakesh Kumar, BDA, Town Planning.
  3. Ramesh Kankatte, RFO, Social Forestry, Yadgir.
  4. Basavaraj Shekar Reddy Patil, Executive Engineer, Kaujalagi Division, Gokak.
  5. Basava Kumar S Annigeri, Shirastedar, DC’s office, Gadag.
  6. Gopinath N Malagi, Project Manager, Nirmiti Kendra, Vijayapura.
  7. BK Shivakumar, Additional Director, Industries and Commerce, Bengaluru.
  8. Shivanand P Sharanappa Khedagi, RFO, Badami.
  9. Manjunath, Assistant Commissioner, Ramanagar.
  10. Srinivas, General Manager, Social Welfare Department.
  11. Maheshwarappa, District Environmental Officer, Davanagere.
