From Jan 1, safari at Bengaluru’s Bannerghatta zoo to get costlier

BBP cites feeding, maintenance expenses for safari fee hike

BENGALURU:

Safaris at the Bannerghatta Biological Park have now become costlier. From January 1, 2022, adult visitors will end up paying Rs 30 more for non-AC on weekdays as well as on weekends. The same increase will apply to children, senior citizens and foreign nationals. For AC buses, the relevant increase will be Rs 50.

According to a press note by the Executive Director of the park, the Governing Council of the Zoo Authority of Karnataka has decided to revise the safari entry fees to sustain the increased expenditure towards fuel charges, feeding, maintenance, establishment and other recurring costs. The revised safari fees are as follows:
