In the midst of the corona virus scare, some unscrupulous elements are trying to make a quick buck by selling fake sanitizers.
In a raid by CCB cops, around 8,500 fake sanitizer bottles have been seized.
Bengaluru Police Joint Commisioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil tweeted, “While everyone is doing their bit to tackle the corona virus problem, there are some who are misusing this terrible situation to make a quick buck. CCB has raided 2 godowns and seized 8,500 fake sanitizer bottles in which 2 accused have been arrested.”
