BENGALURU: Cyber criminals have recently created a fake Facebook account in the name of Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayananda. These criminals are sending friend requests to unsuspecting individuals while pretending to be the police commissioner.
If someone accepts the friend request, they may receive a request for money or be at risk of losing money. The scammers have set up the fake account in Hindi and are specifically targeting vulnerable individuals. As a result, it is crucial for people to exercise caution and be vigilant against cyber fraudsters, as warned by the police.
