Death toll rises to 23
DAVANGERE:
A 69-year-old man from Davangere who was undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection has died, taking the death toll in the state to 23.
As per health department officials: “P 556, 69 year old male from Davangere admitted on 28/04/2020 with history of SARI. Past history of Diabetes and IHD. Patient was on ventilator support and died due to cardiac arrest today at Designated Hospital, Davangere.”
Earlier in a day on Friday, six Covid19 positive cases were reported from the district.
