Anti-cow slaughter rules soon: Minister

BENGALURU:

Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chavan on Saturday announced that Karnataka will enforce a strict cow slaughter ban from January 18.

Chavan said the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020, is now in force. The relevant rules are being framed and will be made public soon, he said.
