CJ welcomes back Covid-recovered staffer with flowers

BENGALURU:

Setting a much-needed example of empathy with Covid patients, Karnataka Chief Justice Abhay S Oka welcomed back a recovered court employee with a bouquet of flowers on Tuesday.

Mary Josephine, a first-division assistant, was infected last month and was in hospital for 8 days, after which she was in 14-day home quarantine.

Justices B Veerappa and S Sujatha were among those present on the occasion.
