Nigerian had gone absconding after the police crackdown
BENGALURU:
Another African was arrested by the CCB police on Thursday in connection with the Sandalwood drugs case. Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil said he was the fourth peddler to be arrested in the case.
The accused has been identified as Ossie (34), a native of Nigeria. He is an accomplice of another peddler Simon, who is currently in custody.
Ossie was allegedly supplying drugs to high-end parties and was absconding after the police crackdown. Based on information from arrested suspects Simon and Loom Pepper, he was nabbed on Thursday.
More than 14 persons have been arrested so far in the drugs case, including actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani, party organizer Viren Khanna, Rahul Tonse and RTO employee Ravishankar.
