Comedian was hospitalized on Saturday

BENGALURU:

Sandalwood actor and comedian ‘Bullet’ Prakash passed away in a private hospital in Bengaluru on Monday.

Prakash was in a critical condition in the last few days, and was on a ventilator in the hospital. He had been suffering from kidney-related ailments.

Prakash had undergone surgery to lose weight two years ago, and reportedly developed health problems after the surgery. He had been in poor health since the past month, and was admitted to Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road on Saturday.

He entered the cinema scene with Shivaraj Kumar’s movie ‘AK-47’, and acted in over 300 films. He was a permanent fixture in Darshan films. Prakash had a close relationship with Duniya Vijay, Darshan and Shivaraj Kumar.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
