BENGALURU:

Veteran actor Shankar Ashwath was the latest to get evicted from the Bigg Boss Kannada 8 on Sunday. Shankar is the fifth eviction of the season.

Host Kiccha Sudeep announced Shankar Ashwath’s eviction during ‘Super Sunday with Sudeepa’ episode.

Shankar Ashwath was in the fire range of teammates after the pool balance task which caused dispute amongst the others in the house. Ashwath was tagged as the worst performer of the week and was even jailed in the bigg boss house.

Shankar is the son of the late K.S. Ashwath and despite following his father’s footsteps, he couldn’t make it big as expected — he decided to explore other opportunities — and even drove a private cab in Mysuru.

Meanwhile, Sudeep had announced Prashanth Sambaragi safe from eviction during Saturday’s episode. On Sunday, Shamanth Gowda, Aravind KP, Nidhi Subbiah, Divya Suresh, and Shubha Poonja were announced as safe from eviction.
