Power theft of 742.38 KW detected in Doddagubbi apartment, Indiranagar cops register case

BENGALURU:

Bescom officials have filed a criminal case of theft of electricity against Anushka Realty Inc, GPA of Purvankara Projects Limited.

A release issued by Dr Shobharani VJ , Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), Bescom, said the vigilance team on November 17 raided Survey No. 19/1, 19/5 in Hanumathappa Layout, Kyasalanahalli, Doddagubbi. While inspecting a building fire protection system in the basement of J-Block, East Palm Beach Apartment, power theft of 742.38 KW through a direct connection (DC) was identified. A case has been registered as Crime No 228/2021 under Section 135 (1)(a) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

The case against Anushka Realty Inc, GPA holder of M/s Purvankara Projects Limited, has been registered by the Indiranagar police station.
