Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has assured the representatives of Industries associations of BESCOM jurisdiction that the company will provide uninterpreted power supply to Industries.
After a video conference meeting with the representatives of both large, medium and small-scale industries associations chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department Gaurav Gupta here on Tuesday, assurance has been given to industrial bodies that uninterpreted power will be provided for industrial activities and no need to panic on this regard.
Representatives of Industrial bodies have raised apprehension that industrial activities may be affected due to a shortage of power production in the state. However Additional Chief Secretary Gurav Gupta and BESCOM MD, Mahantesh Bilagi assured industrial bodies that there is no need to panic in this regard and BESCOM has made all arrangements to provide uninterpreted power supply to the Industrial areas in its jurisdiction.
Representatives of Peenya, Bidadi, Hoskote, Electronic City, Kumbalgodu, Maluru, Nelamangala, Dabaspete, Davangere, Tumakuru, Kolar, Gauribidanur, Whitefield and Herohalli Industries associations have attended the meeting.
