Civic agency’s success involves additional health staff and additional vaccination sessions at all available sites
BENGALURU:
BBMP vaccinated as many as 1,64,787 people in Bengaluru as part of the statewide Covid-19 ‘Lasikaa Mela’ on Friday. The civic agency had aimed at vaccinating 1.25 lakh people across 8 civic zones, but BBMP centres alone exceeded 1.2 lakh vaccinations during the day.
Micro strategy
Residents in all 8 zones were informed of the programme. Micro plans were followed by health officers, necessary health staff were deployed and additional sessions were held in urban primary health centres, ward offices, government hospitals, school/college premises, wedding halls, construction sites and other places.
