Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced an additional round of counselling on March 11 to fill 783 vacant postgraduate (PG) medical seats that remain unfilled after the stray vacancy round.
According to Islamuddin Gadyal, Administrative Officer of KEA, candidates who were not allotted seats in any of the earlier counselling rounds are eligible to participate in this special round.
Officials also clarified that even candidates who have not submitted applications earlier but have qualified in the NEET examination can attend the counselling, submit their applications, provide a Demand Draft (DD), and enter their options.
KEA has published the details of vacant seats, colleges offering them, available courses and fee structures on its official website, allowing candidates to review the information before attending the counselling session.
Candidates must report to the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru before 3:00 PM on March 11 with a Demand Draft or cheque covering the full course fee for the course they intend to opt for, along with all original documents.

Officials stated that only candidates who submit the DD along with all original documents will be allowed to enter their options between 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM on March 11.
The seat allotment results will be announced at 7:00 PM on the same day, and candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges by 5:30 PM on March 12 to complete the admission process.
