Bengaluru: The 54th KVS National Sports Meet 2025 (Kabaddi Boys U-14) concluded on a high note with a vibrant valedictory ceremony held at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya MEG & Centre, Bengaluru.
The Chief Guest, Shri Dharmendra Patle, Deputy Commissioner of KVS Ahmedabad Region, graced the occasion, accompanied by Shri R Pramod and Colonel Govind Ram Choudhary. They were accorded a ceremonial welcome with a Guard of Honour by NCC cadets and the Girl Pipe Band. Principal Shri Lokesh Bihari Sharma welcomed the dignitaries, and the event commenced with a soulful invocation by the school choir.
The much-anticipated final Kabaddi match between Agra and Ranchi thrilled spectators with intense raids and brilliant tackles. Agra emerged champions, defeating Ranchi with a commanding performance, while Patna secured third place. The final was witnessed by Chief Selectors from the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), as the meet also serves as a selection platform for future national-level players.
A colourful Kannada folk dance performance by students added cultural vibrance to the ceremony. The prize distribution honoured top teams and presented participation certificates to 17 other KVS regions.

In their valedictory addresses, the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour appreciated the young athletes for their discipline, determination, and sportsmanship. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. S. K. Jaiswal, followed by the National Anthem, sung with unity and pride.
