African peddler with Sandalwood links nabbed

A day after city police commissioner Kamal Pant referred to a foreign national who was supplying drugs to Sandalwood celebrities, the Central Crime Branch sleuths nabbed an African national on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as Loom Pepper Samba. He was allegedly supplying drugs to actress Ragini Dwivedi’s friend Ravishankar, who mentioned his name during interrogation.

A CCB cop said, “Loom Pepper Samba from Dakar city, Senegal in West Africa who was the drug peddler supplying drugs to Ravi and other celebraties… arrested by CCB.”

Ravishankar, Rahul Shetty and Loom were taken for a routine medical checkup.

Those arrested earlier are Ragini Dwivedi, her friend Ravishankar, actress Sanjana Galrani’s friend Rahul Shetty, and ‘event host’ Viren Khanna.
