An Ahmedabad municipal fire officer has been apprehended on allegations of corruption, according to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB). Inayat Hussain Sheikh, a divisional fire officer stationed at Prahladnagar, was accused of taking a Rs 65,000 bribe to facilitate the issuance of fire safety No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
