Bengaluru: Karnataka has secured the 3rd position at the IndiaSkills 2025-26 National Competition held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, marking a strong performance in the country’s premier skill-based contest.

The state was represented by 48 competitors across 32 skill categories and earned a total of 29 honors, finishing behind Odisha and Tamil Nadu. The achievements spanned across diverse domains including cloud computing, cybersecurity, mechatronics, additive manufacturing, bakery, and visual merchandising.

Capt. Kaustav Nath, state official and mentor for Team Karnataka, termed the achievement as a stepping stone and emphasized the need for further improvement. He stated that while the team has demonstrated immense talent, there is a need to aim higher and reclaim the top position in future competitions.
