48-Hour Alert for Bengaluru | Meteorological Department Warning Heavy Rainfall, Yellow Alert Issued

Bengaluru Rains | Heavy rain, roads-underpasses flooded, waterlogging reported

BENGALURU:

Heavy rain is expected in Bengaluru and various other parts of the state for the next 48 hours, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

The capital city, Bengaluru, along with Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya, and Mysore districts in the southern hinterland, have been issued a yellow alert.

Additionally, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore City, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Kolar, Ramanagara, Shimoga, Tumkur, and Vijayanagar are also expected to experience rainfall. However, the highest amount of rainfall is predicted for Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya, and Mysore districts.
