BENGALURU:
People staying around Shri Dharmaraya Swamy Temple in Nagaratpet were shocked after 39 persons living in an apartment had tested Covid-19 positive.
As per sources, people were under tremoundus scared after a massive positive cases were reported, just two weeks ahead of Bengaluru Karaga festival.
According to the BBMP officials all 39 residents belong to an Mehta Tower apartment on SherKhan Lane. It all started with one of the residents who had traveled from another state being tested positive. The apartment association went ahead for mass tests. Of 145 persons, 39 persons tested positive, said an health official.
The apartment is just behind the Dharmaraya Swamy Temple. On Tuesday BBMP’s Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta alongwith his medical team visited the apartment spot to take first hand information. He directed officials to ensure all kind of safety measures are adopted.
