Chikkaballapur has highest pass percentage in state
Girls outperform boys 77.74% to 66.41%

Chikkaballapur district has reported the highest pass percentage, and Yadgir the lowest, in the recent SSLC exams whose results were declared on Monday.
Of the 8,11,050 students who sat for the examination, 5,82,316 passed and 2,28,734 did not get through. The overall pass percentage was 71.80%, less than last year’s 73.70%.
The results were announced by Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar at a presser on Monday. As per Kumar, 66.41% boys and 77.74% girls passed.
