Sony LIV sets premiere date for ‘Tanaav’ season 2

New Delhi: “Tanaav”, the Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed Israeli series “Fauda”, will start streaming on Sony LIV from September 12.

Backed by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions, the new season of the Kashmir-set thriller show is directed by Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas.

“Tanaav” features an ensemble cast of Manav Vij, Arbaaz Khan, Gaurav Arora, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Ekta Kaul, Satyadeep Mishra, Arslan Goni, Rockey Raina, Soni Razdan, Danish Husain, and Swati Kapoor, among others.

According to the makers, the upcoming chapter is “an action-packed web series encompassing stories of bravery, deception, greed, love, and revenge”.   “The thriller web series ‘Tanaav’ is back with Season 2, streaming on 12th September on Sony LIV.

“Kabir (Manav Vij) and the Special Task Group (STG) return to action when Fareed Mir aka Al-Damishq, a young man seeking vengeance, emerges as a formidable threat. What happens next and what is at stake for everyone involved?” read the official synopsis.

The original series “Fauda” is created by Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz, and distributed by Yes Studios.
