Puducherry’s Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan unveiled plans for a transformative water supply project on Monday, backed by the French Development Agency. The Rs 534 crore project aims to bolster water availability by tapping into five major lakes and installing 40 tube wells near the Sankaraparani river.
