Video of 3 Kashmiri students had gone viral
HUBBALLI:
An inspector of the Hubballi Rural police station has been suspended for delaying submission of a chargesheet in the case of Kashmiri students who were held for shouting pro-Pakistan slogans. A video of the sloganeering students of KL Engineering College had created a stir earlier this year.
On Friday, North Zone IGP Raghavendra Suhas issued an order suspending Inspector Jackson D’Souza on grounds of negligence.
The accused students were granted bail by the 2nd JMFC Court in Hubballi since the chargesheet had not been filed within 90 days of their arrest.
