Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his two-day visit to Assam, landing at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to a warm welcome from Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other state officials. The Prime Minister was greeted with a traditional ‘gamosa’ and cultural performances by artists from various tribes.
