Bengaluru: Amid growing public concern over a reported spike in heart attack cases, Karnataka’s Minister for Medical Education and Skill Development, Dr. Sharanaprakash R. Patil, has urged citizens not to panic, assuring that the government is closely monitoring the situation and taking appropriate steps.
Speaking to reporters outside AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, Dr. Patil said, “There is no reason for the public to panic. The media’s sensational coverage is creating unnecessary fear. People should rely on verified health advice from doctors and health officials.”
Emphasizing prevention over panic, the minister encouraged citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles. “Our health is in our own hands,” he said, recommending a balanced diet, regular exercise, yoga, and conscious living.
