In a significant announcement, the wages of Khadi artisans are set to rise by 20% starting April 1, 2025, as stated by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Chairman Manoj Kumar. Currently, spinners earn Rs 12.50 per hank on the charkha, and this will increase to Rs 15.
