Karnataka Congress Stages Protest, Demands Immediate Arrest of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna Amid Scandal

Date:

BENGALURU: The Congress party staged a protest demanding the arrest of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna over an alleged scandal. The Karnataka government has formed a Special Investigation Team to look into the matter.

In Bengaluru, members of the Congress women’s wing protested against Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of being involved in a scandal. They called for his immediate arrest, burned his posters, and demanded a thorough investigation into the case.

Prajwal Revanna, the 33-year-old grandson of JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, was the NDA candidate in the recent Hassan Lok Sabha constituency elections. Several videos allegedly showing him with multiple women have surfaced in recent days.

A Congress leader stated, “Prajwal Revanna should face severe punishment, even hanging, for his actions with these women. It has tarnished the reputation of Karnataka.”

The Karnataka government has set up a Special Investigation Team to look into the “obscene videos case.” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah mentioned that the videos circulating in Hassan district suggest that women have been assaulted.

Police sources have reported that Prajwal Revanna has left the country amidst the ongoing scandal.
