Karnataka Chief Minister meets and inquires Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot’s Health

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today met Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan and inquired about his health. Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Govindaraju was present.

Sources said that the Governor has returned to Raj Bhavan after receiving treatment at Jayadeva Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital at around 10 pm on Sunday night.

After the treatment, Governor returned to Raj Bhavan around 1:30 pm.

Thaawarchand Gehlot, Originally from Madhya Pradesh, currently serves as the Governor of Karnataka. Prior to this, he was also a Union Minister in Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet.

He was the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment from 2014 to 2021.
