India has emerged as a leading global vaccine producer, manufacturing 60% of the world’s vaccines, according to Prof Balram Bhargava, former Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Speaking at the BRIC-RGCB Women’s Day event, Bhargava highlighted the country’s pioneering efforts in vaccine development and exportation.
