BENGALURU: Customs officials recently conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of a traveler attempting to smuggle 10 anaconda snakes from Bangkok.
The vigilant customs officers were inspecting the luggage of passengers arriving at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA airport) from Bangkok when they made the shocking discovery of 10 yellow anacondas in the possession of one passenger.
The authorities promptly took the passenger into custody, and the customs officials are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. The rescued yellow anaconda snakes have been safely handed over to forest department officials.
