
BENGALURU: Five men were involved in the theft of 400 kg of hair valued at Rs 25 lakh from a warehouse in Lakshmipur Cross. One of the suspects, Yallappa, has been arrested in connection with the crime.
The incident took place on March 1 when the group of five individuals, including Yallappa, broke into the warehouse where the human hair was stored. They managed to steal the 400 kg of hair, worth approximately Rs 25 lakh, and fled the scene in a goods vehicle.

The owner of the warehouse, Venkataraman, reported the theft to the Soladevanahalli police station. The police have launched an investigation into the matter and have identified the suspects involved.
Further investigation revealed that the stolen hair was transported to Channarayapatna and Andhra Pradesh with the intention of exporting it to China, Burma, and Hong Kong.
Yallappa has been apprehended by the police, and efforts are underway to capture the remaining four suspects involved in the theft.
