BENGALURU:

The NDPS court in the city has rejected the bail applications of drug-accused actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani. The duo is currently in judicial custody.

On Monday, NDPS court judge G M Shenappa refused bail to the two actresses and also rejected the anticipatory bail plea of accused No1 (A1) Shiv Prakash, who is absconding. Another accused, Vinay Kumar, was also not granted bail.

As the SPP requested time to file objections against accused Ravi Shankar’s bail application, the court postponed the hearing to September 30.

Furthermore, the bail application hearings of Prashant Ranka, Abhiswami, Vaibhav Jain and Prashant Raju were postponed to September 30. Another accused Viren Khanna’s bail application has been postponed to October 1.
