In a dramatic series of events, the Congress party launched a fervent protest against the recent raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the premises of senior party leader Bhupesh Baghel, the former chief minister of Chhattisgarh. Accusing the ruling BJP of using the investigation agency as a political weapon, Congress burned effigies of the government and the ED across the state.
