Brave Woman Breaks Silence: Wife Swapping Scandal Rocks Bengaluru

Date:

BENGALURU:

The alarming trend of wife swapping, which has plagued western countries for years, has unfortunately made its way to India, including Bengaluru. Disturbing incidents of employees from prominent companies engaging in this immoral practice have been reported frequently. Recently, a woman bravely came forward to file a complaint at the Basavanagudi Women’s Police Station, alleging that her husband was pressuring her to spend the night with a close friend.

The accused in this particular case is Purnachandra, a resident of Basavanagudi, who allegedly subjected his wife to emotional and physical abuse in an attempt to coerce her into sleeping with a friend. However, the wife vehemently refused to comply with his demands, leading to further assault by Purnachandra. As a result of the woman’s complaint, an FIR has been registered against Purnachandra and his parents.

Purnachandra’s marriage took place just a year ago, with a lavish ceremony held at the Swayamprabha Kalyan Mandap in Kamakshipalya. The bride’s family even provided a dowry to Purnachandra during the wedding, it is said.

However, it seems that Purnachandra was not satisfied with this gesture and resorted to tormenting his wife, demanding an additional eight lakh rupees. In desperation, the woman’s elder brother provided two lakh rupees, but it was still not enough to appease the accused.

This distressing incident has been reported by the victimized woman, who bravely came forward to seek justice.
