GOMA, Democratic Republic of Congo, Jan 25 (Reuters) – A round 20 civilians were killed in an attack in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on Thursday, the army and M23 rebels said, accusing each other of launching the assault. The deaths were the latest fallout from fighting between Congolese troops and M23, whose offensives have forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes and worsened the region’s decades-long security and humanitarian crisis.
