Karnataka CET results announced

BENGALURU:

The results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to vocational  courses were announced on Thursday by the Deputy Chief Minister and  Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan.

The CET was held for admission to Engineering, Veterinary, BSc (Agriculture), B-Pharma, D Pharma, Naturopathy and Yoga Science courses.The Deputy Chief Minister praised KEA for bringing out the resultsĀ  in just 20 days.

1,94,419 students applied for the engineering course, of which 1,75,349 students took the exam. Of these, 1,53,470 students were given ranks.

1,27,627 appeared in BSc Agri, 1,29,666 in Veterinary Science, and 1,55,552 in B Pharma and D Pharma.

Counselling in October

According to the DCM, the CET counselling schedule will be finalized taking into account the counselling schedule of exams like JEE and NEET, and will most likely be held in October.There will be two rounds of counselling and finally an ‘expansion’ round.
